This page is for links to blogs and websites I find interesting to look at and read.
A purist who recreates scenes for American Girl dolls that are historically correct.
Photos of the outfits Eve Coleman has made to showcase her patterns.
A collection of some of the outfits Jeanne Wiedlocher has made.
A collection of outfits and patterns that have a lot of detail added to them.
Photos of the outfits Ann Van Doren has created and sewn. You can buy her patterns on Etsy.
Though this is her Etsy shop, she always shows the outfits she has sewn from her patterns.
The blog has not been kept up to date though she has some interesting information on it. It is better to look at her patterns at Pixie Faire.
I love this designer as she not only has a wonderful line of patterns and a fabulous blog, she also has hacks for her patterns. She sells individual patterns and bundles. She has each pattern in several different sizes for different dolls.
When you sign up for her blog, you get a free skirt pattern and there is a hack for it. I've made the skirt several time using her hack. It is a great go to pattern.
This designer was given to us by one member of a doll thread I am on. Some of her patterns are delightful and they are free.
I did a sew along with her in 2018 when she did an Edwardian wardrobe for A Girl For All Time. I put them on my Gotz Happy Kids and if I do this wardrobe again I will enlarge it by 5% so it fits the doll a bit more loosely. You can buy her patterns for AG and other sized dolls at her Etsy shop. Not all of the Edwardian patterns are in her shop which is sad.
